We’re forming a high school composite mountain bike team. Learn how you can be a part of the adventure!
We offer experiential and transformative cycling programs that combine fun, adventure, and physical activity with stem-based programming in a safe, supportive environment.
All our programs serve at-risk and underserved youth, ages 8-20, in the Denver metro area.
what we do
Lucky to Ride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving underserved and at-risk youth the opportunity to experience and learn about the natural beauty of Colorado from the seat of a mountain bike.
We are an organization of cyclists, educators, and community leaders who believe we can make an unquestionable difference in the lives of children by opening their minds to new possibilities & arming them with greater self-esteem.
Our goal at Lucky to Ride is to reach as many at-risk and underserved kids in the Denver Metro as possible. We work with various youth organizations, multiple school districts, corporate partners as well as government agencies to expand our reach and provide high-quality programming. Today, we serve over 1,600 kids annually which means hundreds of hours of riding, learning, and experiencing new things.
