At Lucky Bikes, we believe every kid deserves the chance to ride. We provide bikes, gear, skills training, and safe outdoor experiences so kids can discover the freedom, confidence, and joy that cycling brings.
Through our programs, kids learn how to ride safely, care for their bikes, build job skills, and explore Colorado’s trails and parks—all while building resilience, friendships, and a love of the outdoors.

We’re a crew of riders, mechanics, and mentors who love sharing the fun of bikes with kids. At Lucky Bikes, we’re not about being polished or perfect—we’re about showing up, fixing flats, cheering kids on, and helping them discover what they’re capable of.
We care deeply about our community and believe a bike can connect us to each other and . Whether we’re teaching a new rider, wrenching in the shop, or leading a trail ride, we’re here to support and inspire the next generation.

We work with kids ages 8–20 across the Denver Metro area. Most kids come to us through partnerships with schools and community organizations. Whether they’re earning a bike, joining a group ride, or learning how to fix their own wheels, every kid gains access to new opportunities and new adventures.

our inspiration
Lucky to Ride is a member of Trips for Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Marin County, California. Founded in 1988 and now operating in over 75 locations throughout the United States, Canada and Israel, Trips for Kids (TFK®) has opened the world of cycling to over 100,000 at-risk youth through guided mountain bike rides, job training and earn a bike programs.
All TFK chapters, modeled on the foundation of the original TFK Marin program, are managed and operated independently at the local level but share a common goal. Their mission is to provide transformative cycling experiences that promote healthy recreational lifestyles, environmental awareness, and personal empowerment for young people of all communities.
