LEARNING TO RIDE. RIDING TO LEARN.

the what

The Lucky Bike Club is a 20-hour, STEM-based bicycle education course developed to provide youth, 2nd-4th grade, with the basic understanding of the bicycle as a simple machine. In addition to the 10 hours of technical training in the classroom, students get 10 hours of riding and bike safety instruction out on the trail.

the why

This fun, experiential program offers excellent instruction specifically designed for elementary-aged kids. Through partner donations, participants get to take home their own bike. The course uses STEM-based curriculum and a positive development approach to provide youth the opportunity to learn and master skills of building a bike and riding. Instructors also use this time to teach life skills such as leadership, responsibility and relationship-building.

The How

We come to your site. We bring the bikes, the tools, the instructor and the curriculum. Riding skills are taught at a local park, trail or neighborhood path closest to your site.

the who

We partner with youth agencies and elementary schools in the Denver Metro area to provide a unique educational experience and further our cause of enriching the lives of local youth.
