Ways To Give

Every Dollar Goes Far

We have several ways for you to make an Impact and support Lucky to Ride.

We are an independent and locally supported non-profit 501 c(3) organization. We raise funds through grants, events and our social enterprise bike shop to make our organization self-sufficient, but we also rely on your kindness to be able to do the work that we do.

We hope that you will continue to support Lucky to Ride so we can continue to empower youth from under-resourced communities, using bicycles to foster economic and social mobility and develop social and emotional wellbeing.

roundup for rides

Roundup giving makes it easy. You can set and control how much you give each month, and everytime you make a purchase we’ll automatically round up your purchase to help transform the future of the youth we serve. It’s small change for you but a big impact for us.

donor advised funds (DAF)

With a DAF, you can combine the best tax advantages with the freedom to easily donate cash, appreciated securities, and other assets to Lucky to Ride. DAFs allow you to give to charity and immediately receive tax breaks.

sparkgood walmart.org

Walmart.com allows you to round up your purchase total to the nearest dollar at checkout and donate your change.

In future orders, you will see the “Round-Up” amount appear when you view the check-out cart. You can uncheck the box if you do not want to donate the round-up sum for specific purchases, or you can leave the box checked if you wish to round up and donate your change.

donate stock

It is simple and quick, and it lowers your capital gains tax. When you make a stock donation, the full value of the gift is deducted from your taxable income.
